Rome came alive as the Roman Feast returned to the Ciociaro Club for an evening of food, fun, entertainment and Julius Caesar holding court!

The Roman Feast began with an antipasto bar, followed by the marching in of Caesar with his entourage that included Senators and Centurions, Cleopatra and belly dancers to entertain and amuse the crowd.

The Ciociaro Club was turned into central Rome with Italian marble-like arches and columns, in a large circular setting to accommodate performances and attendees.

Entertainment began with a live theatre performance of The Twins, produced by a 220 BC playwright named Tutus Maccius Plautus, creating one of the most entertaining and enduring ancient Roman comedies ever: Menaechmi (pronounced men-ike-mee), a story of mistaken identity. Members of the Korda Artistic Productions presented this one-act version, directed by Jeff Marontate.

During dinner, belly dancers circled the room, a silent auction included a chance to bid on the use of a C4 Alfa Romeo Sport vehicle for an entire weekend. Also during the evening the Goblet Draw offered exquisite jewelry. Later in the evening the crowd was entertained by Big Louie (Zannotti) and The Band. The evening was topped off with the Porchetta and Focaccia Dance at 11 p.m.
