Free Public Forum – Medical Cannabis: What You Need to Know

Medical Cannibis and Chronic Pain – What You Need to Know

If you are considering medical cannabis to help manage the symptoms of a chronic disease, you need information you can trust. You have questions: we have answers.
Please join the Arthritis Society and our panel of guest speakers for a frank conversation about the facts of medical cannabis. Learn about access, potential benefits and risks, your legal rights and responsibilities with your employer, and the important role of research to better understand it as a treatment option.

The expert panel includes: Dr. Christopher Blue (MD, CCFP, ABFM); Janet Yale (President & CEO, Arthritis Society); Dr. Jason McDougall (Researcher & Professor with Dalhousie University); Fabio Constante (Mousseau Deluca McPherson Prince LLP); Lauren Meadows (RPN, Rheumatoid Arthritis Patient).

Everyone is welcome to attend to learn the latest developments and most up to date information on this topic. The evening will include opening remarks from the panel, with a large portion of time dedicated to a question and answer

period with the audience. Questions will be accepted anonymously if that is the attendee’s preference. The panel will also be broadcast via facebook live.
