Libro-EPIC Social Enterprise Pitch Competition

The Libro-EPIC Social Enterprise Pitch Competition is open for individuals and teams with a social enterprise at any stage of development (i.e. you can be anywhere between just having a big idea to already be generating revenue). Social enterprises include businesses that have a social and/or environmental benefit mission along with a revenue-generation model.

The winners of the pitch competition will enter the Libro-EPIC Social Enterprise Program which will award up to $8000 to the winners. The program will require a full-time commitment (35 hours/week) over a 16-week period from October 1st to January 31st (dates subject to change).

At the end of the program, teams will present their ideas on January 31st for feedback from an expert panel. To be eligible for application you must fulfill the following requirements:

• Business idea must be based in Windsor (it’s ok to have a global impact)
• Have a social/environmental mission statement along with an idea to generate money
• Founder must be eligible to work in Canada
