Miss Tecumseh Pageant Fundraiser
August 17, 2019 @ 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm$20
Miss Tecumseh 2018, Suzie Sawicki
Annual Miss Tecumseh Pageant Fundraiser for Charity of Choice
How many times have you driven by the small wagon on Tecumseh Road and wondered what that is or why it exists? That is exactly what Miss Tecumseh 2018, Suzie Sawicki, and the Miss Tecumseh 2019 Contestants hope to change.
On August 17, The Miss Tecumseh Pageant will host the annual “Charity of Choice Fundraiser” from 5:30pm to 9:30pm at Average Joes Banquet Hall. All proceeds will go directly to The Tecumseh Historical Society to help further their mission to educate the public on local history.
Suzie Sawicki says it best- “I know the donation that I raise will benefit generations to come. The Tecumseh Museum plays a pivotal role in the Windsor-Essex Community. It houses artifacts that date back to the War of 1812, as well as photos from families within the town.” Sawicki wishes that all families in the area know about the Museum and she hopes to encourage the public to visit.
The young women will host a fun-filled night showcasing the beautiful fashions from Perla’s Fashions in Tecumseh.
This event will also consist of Town of Tecumseh
Trivia, a 50/50 Draw and Raffle Prizes from local businesses.
The need for public education on history is how communities will continue to advance both economically and socially. Thanks to local young women in the Tecumseh community, they have shown the residents that this is important and something that people should invest their time in.
