Biz X Was There – Transition to Betterness Gala 2020

The 23rd annual Transition to Betterness Gala 2020 took place on Saturday, January 25th, 2020. It’s one of Windsor’s most fashionable nights of the year. For 2020 the theme “T2B Goes East” was inspired by the Moroccan, Indian, and Arabian cultures and beautifully decorated by Diane Spencler Glover of Designs by Diane with fresh flowers by I&F Design.

The extraordinary evening featured many levels of entertainment including drum trio DJ PJ Productions who greeted guests with an Arabian drum beat, an acoustic performance by Crissi Cochrane and Soul Brother Mike played tribute to T2B’s 2020 honouree video and guests danced the night away to hits played by DJ Lady Frequency with Pop Violinist Tino Popovic. The evening was hosted by T2B’s spokesperson, Dave Hunter from “Dave and Chuck the Freak” on 101.1 WRIF.

Cuisine included delicious themed hors d’oeuvres and a fabulous plated dinner by Caesars Windsor’s award winning chefs and a late night street food market with flavours from the East!

Extraordinary fundraising elements included a thrilling live auction, a sizable silent auction with over a 100 pieces and an exquisite raffle with his and her prizes.

T2B proudly presented Gala 23, “T2B Goes East”, with The Stephanie & Barry Zekelman Foundation & LiUNA!625/Bluesfest as their Ultimate Partner Sponsors (Title), along with FA Investments/Abiad Family and Rosati Group as their VIP Partner Sponsors. Caesars Windsor was once again the Host Sponsor.

T2B is very grateful for these philanthropists as they are so supportive in everything they do. An event to this magnitude wouldn’t be possible without the incredible T2B office staff, Action Committee, Board of Directors and 100+ volunteers.

The evening was dedicated to honouring local loved ones and everyone celebrated together to raise funds that stay within and support the local community. T2B is dedicated to providing COMFORT for patients and families dealing with life-altering illnesses and providing the much-needed bridge between hospital and home.
