City of Windsor Responds to Flooding

City of Windsor work crews are out in full force responding to flooding issues on roads and properties throughout the city.

Treatment pumps are working at full capacity and the 311 call centre is as well.

Callers to 311 are asked to have patience as all lines are often busy, resulting in a busy signal being heard, but operators are working hard to work through each call as quickly as possible and open up lines for new callers.  311 is asking residents to hold off on non-flooding related calls if possible, until the rain passes.

Windsor Police have closed off a number of roads until water recedes so please drive with caution.

We will keep you updated as more information becomes available.
