Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare & HDGH Foundation Celebrate New Bob Probert Tecumseh Campus
On June 5, 2025, a crowd of bikers, healthcare workers, and donors joined together to celebrate an exciting milestone in rehabilitative care for the Windsor Essex region . . . and of course, Windsor Aerial

With a ribbon cutting celebration on the late NHL star’s birthday (he would have turned 60), the Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare Bob Probert Tecumseh Campus has officially opened.
The Bob Probert Tecumseh Campus will bring the high-quality, person-centred care that our community has come to know and expect from Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare (HDGH), closer to home for the residents of Tecumseh and Lakeshore.
Offering outpatient programs such as Cardiac Wellness, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Therapy, and our Geriatric Assessment Program, the revamped facility supports the growing need for care in this part of Essex County.
“As plans came together to establish the Bob Probert Tecumseh Campus, it was a hope, a dream, that this location would support our Tecumseh and Lakeshore residents, reaching those who may have otherwise faced barriers to care due to the distance to our West-Windsor location. I am thrilled to share that our hopes and dreams have been fulfilled,” shares Shannon Landry, Vice President of Clinical Services, Restorative Care and Chief Nursing Executive at HDGH.
The accompanying video features quick interviews with Bill Marra (HDGH President and CEO), Tierney Probert (Bob’s daughter) and Dani Probert (Bob’s wife).
The location began welcoming patients in late March and has cared for 84 patients totalling over 700 visits in its first two months of operation.
All of this life changing care within the heart of Tecumseh would not have been possible without the support and efforts of a number of groups and individuals including a shared vision with the Town of Tecumseh, and of course, the Probert family. Over the course of 10 Bob Probert Rides, Probert Classics, and a Motorcycle Raffle, over $1.2 million was raised for the HDGH Foundation in the name of Cardiac Care in Windsor Essex.
The Probert family, led by Bob’s wife Dani, poured their hearts and souls into establishing an event that drew thousands of motorcycle and classic car enthusiasts to our region every June. Always welcoming returning and new sponsors and donors, such as the Original 6 Sponsors, Unifor Local 444, Brotto Family Holdings and Suburban Homes, and the Probie Peeps, the Ride’s legacy and impact grew year after year.
“The Ride and this legacy project were created to honour our father and to give back to the community he called home,” says Brogan Probert, Bob’s eldest daughter. “Today, as we open the doors to this
campus, we see that vision fulfilled. Our hearts are full, and our family could not be prouder or thankful.”
The impact of the Probert family and numerous other dedicated supporters and donors will be felt for years to come with every patient and family who attends the Cardiac Wellness program at HDGH on Prince Road and now who step foot in the Bob Probert Tecumseh Campus. Learn more online.
