Businesses Come Together from Across America to Accept Their Top Choice Award at The Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto
Recognition where it’s due is the core belief at Top Choice Awards. As the people vote for their favourite businesses in their city, others are graced with a list of trusted businesses that they can turn to for everyday services. Not only does this public list help consumers make educated buying decisions, it inspires those who work hard daily to keep up their Top status. It was the 12th Annual Top Choice Awards Gala that brought these businesses together to receive their award and recognition amongst others.
Business owners from across North America received their hard earned Top Choice Award on Saturday, September 9th at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto. Many flew in from Calgary, Vancouver, Ottawa, and Austin TX just to name a few cities, to be recognized as the Top Choice of the people in their city. The event felt like a giant marriage between like-minded people as the room lit up with passion.
There was a period of networking between the businesses, where connections were made for the years to come. While smiles flourished to the sound of clinking champagne glasses, lights fired to capture moments with Toppy (Top Choice Awards’ signature mascot) and plates were filled with some of the most exquisite cuisine prepared by the Fairmont Royal York, the room became more enjoyable by the minute. An ice bar within h shot glasses made of ice was truly a highlight, allowing businesses to loosen up and truly celebrate success. Live music from Stereo Flavour band, magicians showing off their tricks and live statues made for great conversation starters and photos that you can find on The Top Choice Award website.
The awards ceremony was emotional, passionate, fun and entertaining. Scott Fox and Kat Callaghan from Z103.5 hosted the event, presenting over 45 awards. The acceptance speeches were filled with success stories and inspirational messages. A four course meal was quickly cleaned from plates with courses ranging from beef tenderloin with seared foie gras to sticky toffee pudding with crème fraiche catered by the Fairmont Royal York. Entertainment breaks were refreshing and exhilarating with performances from Stereo Flavour Band, ET the Mime, Tropicana Queens, Axé Capoeira and Dr. Draw. It was a truly memorable night.
