The Distress Centre of Windsor-Essex County  is excited to once again work alongside two community partners BrightSide Tanning Inc and Sunsetters Premiere Tanning Salons, to help area residents “Fight the Winter Blues this January!”

On Monday, January 18th, both Tanning Salons with four locations throughout Windsor-Essex County, will be giving a discount to all patrons and donating 10% of sales from the day to the Distress Centre of Windsor-Essex County.  This is the fourth year that this group of Tanning Salons has worked with the Distress Centre, and each year, the awareness and success of the partnership continues to increase from previous years.

It’s no surprise that these darker days of Winter and the frigid temperatures play a strong part in decreasing people’s energy and mood, so getting a few rays at one of these fantastic Tanning Salons will help in giving a boost to one’s energy while helping a Community Organization continue to operate and raise awareness of the support it gives our local residents throughout the year.  Rukshini Ponniah-Goulin, the Distress Centre’s Director of Operations, says, “Most people will feel an increase of energy and revival of spirits when getting some sun, so why not do it on your own terms, on your own time, even during the dark days of Winter and help the Distress Centre while you’re at it!”

BrightSide Tanning Inc. and Sunsetters Premiere Tanning Salons offer a wide variety of services and products at a wide range of prices at each of their four locations and are open throughout the day and evening.  Whether you hope to get some relaxation and warmth on a cold Winter day, get some colour back during these darker days of the year or perhaps build a “base tan” before heading South for a Winter Getaway, this day-long event is the ideal one to participate in on Monday, January 18th!
