“I’m very proud to see the continuation of a great tradition of unique and talented small businesses calling The House (131 Elliott St W) home.  The Other Bird Vintage shop offers a unique retail experience and is a perfect fit for The House. The House has been home to many great tiny start-ups that have grown out of the limited space to become part of a greater business community.  Artist Jodi Green has gone on to create Levigator Press in Walkerville.  Doug Sartori has moved on to be Chair of the board of Hackforge which is located in downtown Windsor.  Blab Media has become the go to social media consultancy in the area and now call downtown home.  Our partner in The House originally, Spotvin Design, has expanded and now employs over 10 people and is situated in Walkerville.  As the founder/creator of Rino’s Kitchen I am excited to be passing the baton on to the talented and passionate Josh Fraser who has taken over the reigns at Rino’s Kitchen.  Josh has been with us for almost five years. We hope that you come out on the 18th and help welcome Josh officially in his new role as owner/chef of Rino’s Kitchen.”  – Rino Bortolin – Previous Owner

The Other Bird is a collection of hand picked vintage clothing, accessories and housewares. This shop is located upstairs of one of Windsor’s favourite casual dining restaurants. This old fashioned historical house is the perfect setting for this tiny shop that will give the experience of stepping back in time.  A unique opportunity to eat delicious food, have a beverage including craft beer, and shop one of a kind vintage finds.

Over the past few years The Other Bird has been selling their vintage items at local markets and events throughout Windsor. You might have visited their 1970s vintage Shasta trailer at Rino’s Kitchen’s Midtown Market.  Cara Salustro, Owner is thrilled to have found a perfect location to showcase their vintage goods and continue to build their business.
