City Market’s POP-Up section will allow local entrepreneurs to perfect their retail business before launch.
The City Market – home of some of the brightest entrepreneurs in Windsor will be opening a POP-Up section to the marketplace. This newest addition to The City Market will allow new entrepreneurs to test their retail business plan without any of the risk involved in opening up a retail store.
“While planning ahead is key when opening up a small business, entrepreneurs can only plan ahead so much without actually testing their products and services in the real world. Our POP-Up section allows entrepreneurs to do exactly that. By testing their business plan, their products, service, networking, and everything in between, this will allow them to learn what works and what doesn’t before their actual, retail launch. Quite, literally, our POP-Up section is an incubator for budding Windsor entrepreneurs.” – Ashok Sood, owner of The City Market
Sood believes that by giving entrepreneurs the ability to fine-tune their brand before launch, this will not only improve their chances for survival, but will improve the overall landscape of Windsor’s local businesses.
“To me, there is nothing quite like shopping locally,” continued Sood. “Services and products provided by local businesses are just better, but surviving as a local business can be difficult. By setting small businesses up for success, shopping locally will be easier and more lucrative than ever before. We already have over 20 vendors ready to test out their business plan, and more coming down the pipeline.”
The City Market invites the public to come out to the grand launch of the POP-Up section March 5 at 11am.
