The “Third Annual Jeep Jam” convoy definitely turned some heads in Essex County on June 5, 2016!
The Windsor Jeep Club expected to host over 200 Jeeps and 500 participants at the Jeep Jam which left from the Ciociaro Club.
“The Jeep Jam has grown every year and we were expecting our largest turn out yet this year,” says Debbie Kay, Windsor Jeep Club President.
Gord Causton, Vice President of the Windsor Jeep Club adds, “The goal was to raise $20,000 for local brain injury support programs offered through Assisted Living of SW Ontario.”
100% of the funds raised will stay locally in our community and will be directed to Assisted Living Southwestern Ontario’s (A.L.S.O) Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) programs and services.
The number of participants and the amount raised is still being tallied but visit here again to see the amount posted asap!
The large convoy of Jeeps departed from the Ciociaro Club at 11a.m. and travelled a scenic 105 kilometres throughout Essex County. Stops along the way included the Verdi Club, Heritage Village, and the Knights of Columbus Hall in McGregor.
At each stop participants received a playing card and prizes were awarded for the best hands and the absolute worst poker hand at the after party! The fun continued when the party began after the Jeeps returned from their Convoy around Essex County at 3 p.m.
The Jeep Jam was sponsored in part by: Motorcity Chrysler, Action Signs, Biz X Magazine, CKLW AM800, Cogeco, In Play! Magazine.
