Biz X Was There – The Bridal Ball 2017

The Bridal Ball 2017 took place at the Ambassador Golf Course (1025 Sprucewood Avenue, Windsor) on April 1, 2017.

The theme, “A Night in Paris” was brought to life by Diane Spencler of Designs by Diane and included Eiffel Tower replications.

Over 100 guests were decked out bridal and evening gowns, dresses and suits (of course!) for the men. The “Bridal Ball” is a social night of silent/live auction, dinner and dancing with all proceeds being donated to a local charity with this year being the Windsor-Essex County ALS Society.

Committee members included Sarah Taylor (founder of the event) of It’s Your Day Bridal Boutique; Diane Farquhar and Chef Daniele Palanca of Ambassador Golf Club and Susan Hanson, Director of Administration for T.J. Enterprises (Tim Hortons).

Area businesses and organizations also sponsored the event to make it a huge success. The main sponsors were as follows. . .

Deborah Jones and her team at Biz X Magazine work so incredibly hard to produce each issue and their November / December Awards 2024 issue is fantastic! So happy to see that Erie Street Woodworks won in their Woodworking Wonders category. There were 196 nominees this year and I have no idea how Deborah and the team of judges were able to choose between all of the talented nominees.

Deborah and the Biz X team are not only a group of people who work together, they are the spirit of Windsor's community, business essence and bringing social awareness. As a new member of this beautiful city, it was through Biz X magazine that I learned who is who and where is where. I attended their 25th Anniversary Gala in 2022 and what a fantastic evening. Everything, from the sparkling decor, glam photos, entertainment, guest speakers and our own Windsor fire department fundraising for Sparky's Toy Drive, was a true celebration.
