Celebrating Women Who Inspire Us Signature Luncheon

Women United’s Celebrating Women Who Inspire Us Signature Luncheon
Join us for Women United’s annual Celebrating Women Who Inspire Us Signature Luncheon Presented by LiUNA625 and become part of a powerful network of caring and professional local women.
The annual Celebrating Women Who Inspire Us luncheon is a signature event of United Way’s Women United program. It brings together people in the community for an inspirational event, featuring a keynote speaker, as well as information about Women United and its impact in the community followed by a networking opportunity. Your ticket includes lunch and the chance to hear from this year’s keynote Lynn McLaughlin.
Lynn McLaughlin is an award-winning educator, author, speaker, and brain tumour survivor who is passionate about empowering others to take a proactive approach to their well-being. Founder of her own corporation and host of the Taking the Helm podcast, she draws on her Mom’s Choice Award winning children’s series The Power of Thought and bestselling novel Jackson to inspire positive, life-changing choices.
Doors open at 11:30am. Program runs from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Networking event runs from 1:00pm to 1:30pm. Women United is an inclusive, vibrant community of change-makers bound together by a sense of belonging to one another, to our community, and to our mission.
Women United invests directly in United Way’s On Track to Success program, a youth empowerment strategy that helps local young people overcome barriers to success and helps them graduate high school on time and attend post-secondary or trade education. Together, we can help local kids find the path out of poverty.
