Ford City Decides to Bring Back the Ford City Twilight Market for 2017
On behalf of the proud sponsors, Ford City Residents in Action Committee, and the Windsor Heimat Banquet Centre, they are pleased to invite you to participate in the 2017 Ford City Twilight Market to be held every 3rd Thursday of the month. Opening night will kick off on Thursday, May.18th and run until December.21st. They are open from 6:00pm– 10:00pm, featuring Windsor’s Only Bavarian Biergarten (Beer Garden), indoor and outdoor market for guests to shop and mingle, as well as full bar and authentic German cuisine.
This unique market will feature some of Windsor’s talented artists, performances by local musicians, and a wide selection of vendors including but not limited to: Younique, Scentsy, Simon Steeps, Bows and Bros, Angel Made Crafts, Bourne to Imagine, Nuvo Entertainment, The Good Greek bakery, Simple Path Products, Pucker Up Lipstick Readings, Henna Artist Pixie by Design, Ford City Residents in Action Committee will be fundraising for other neighbourhood events and selling homemade baked goods , Capturing Memories and More-Personalized candles, handmade Jewelry, Sweet Legs Leggings, bamboo pillows and sheet sets, as well as homemade spicy garlic dill pickles and spicy relishes.
The Heimat Centre invites guests to participate in an endurance mug holding challenge against the Heimat staff: Winners will enjoy a Bavarian beer on the house! Tracey Stiller’s wait staff at The Heimat Centre will be dressed in lederhosen’s and offering a true BierGarten, where you can sample and explore Bavarian Beers. They invite everyone to join them for opening night in historic Ford City. There will be unique and family friendly activities including face painting, animal balloon twisting, as well as Henna tattoos. Enjoy live music from 4 different local artists as you shop among the indoor and outdoor market. They are always looking for more ways to involve and engage the community!
