I Believe In You, 2021

2020 will be remembered as the year of tragedy. According to many, it is possibly one of the worst years ever — and rightfully so with all that has happened and brought the world so much sadness and fear.

But, despite all the bad things that have happened through this year, there is one good thing for sure — and that is we made it through. As tough as it was, it was our perseverance that shone through it all. So that is something we should not forget.

We must remember that we became closer to families and friends, we all wore masks to protect us and we all encouraged each other. So let’s not forget some of these other silver linings.
So now the question is, what about 2021?

Oh yes! We are about to embark on a new year and a new journey. Truth is I have no idea how 2021 is going to unfold, but I will tell you a few things that we can do.

Remain optimistic.
It doesn’t help a situation if we are already thinking things are going to be worse. Believe that things are about to take a turn for the good. As hard as things can be, they always get better.

When we are optimistic we can see the good in almost anything and everything. We are able to cope better and stress less. So keep positive, even if you are uncertain about 2021. Just believe, have hope and faith that things are going to turn around. Because sooner or later it will inevitably turn around. A happy mind is a happy life.

Cut negative people out of your life and do not keep reading about the coronavirus. If you are going to read anything, then let it be inspirational and helpful to you.

Get rid of the baggage.

If you have been feeling sad in 2020, do not bring it into 2021. Think of 2020 as a past horrible relationship. Let 2021 be a brand new relationship. 2020 weighed many people down, but it’s time to break the bolts, locks and chains. It’s time to free yourself. Start fresh and start new, as in NEW YEAR and NEW YOU!

Don’t halt your future. Focus on resolutions, not the pandemic.

What are your plans for 2021? What are your goals? This should be your priority for 2021.

Keep working toward your goals. We don’t know the future, but we can still create ours. Stay diligent, mixed with dedication and consistency, but most importantly, never give up. Are you ready?
No excuses. Let’s go and lets CONQUER 2021.

You have to remember, that life does not control us. We control us. We control our thoughts, our feelings, our behaviours and what action we are going to take. So take the necessary action needed in order to attain massive success in your life.

Keep your mind forward, keep your eyes forward and keep flying forward.

Stay kind to yourself and others.

It is very important not to be too hard on yourself. This is not your fault. Sometimes things happen to us that we have absolutely no control over. In addition, staying kind to others will also help you feel better, because you are helping people feel better. So, it does not make sense to be unkind to yourself and kind to others. Kindness and love starts with loving yourself.

Let go of the anxiety, the fears, worries and stress. It will not change anything. The best thing to do is welcome the new year with open arms and embrace it. Tell yourself “This is going to be a great year.”

What does not kill us makes us not only stronger, but influential, resilient, fierce, bold, brave, courageous and absolutely fearless.

othing and no one can break the unbreakable you!

Say, “Thank you.”
There are people who are homeless sleeping in the cold, looking for a warm place to sleep or a hot meal to eat. There are homeless people not allowed to use restrooms.

There are businesses hurting, but they still remain optimistic.

Be grateful that you have a roof over your head, surrounded by four walls.
You have a furnace to keep you warm.

We have amazing people delivering our foods without having us do the work. This brings me to the next point….

We have food to eat.

We have families who love us.

We have pets who love us.

So let me ask you, what is there to complain about? Absolutely nothing.

When we think of these reasons it gives us a different perspective on the situation we are in and we come to realize that despite what is happening, things are not as bad as we are making them out to be.

Our best friend is our creator.
God is one of my best friends. I can’t see him, but I can feel his presence around me. Especially if days feel a little overwhelming.

When you walk the path with God, then your worries will vanish and your Hope will emerge out of nowhere.

Just because you can’t witness a miracle, does not mean that the miracle does not exist. When God is in our corner, we are able to let go more easily. It is that Faith and that Trust that you are giving to the universe that regardless of what is happening, it is happening for a reason.

Keep your body moving.
Just like I said in an article I wrote last January, we must keep active. You don’t need a gym to be healthy. Go for short walks outside, or dance your calories away. Exercise, in conjunction with eating healthily, can boost our mental health and overall wellness. Eating “junk food” only makes you feel more tired, less energetic and without proper nutrition, and it can negatively affect your mental and physical health.

So my friends, I want you to take a deep breath and remember that life doesn’t own you, but you own your life, you own your success and your happiness.

I want you to believe that things are going to turn around. Maybe not today and maybe not a month from now, but it WILL. I really believe it. I can even guarantee it will get better.
Just like I believe in 2021, I believe in YOU!

God bless you.

Never give up. Keep moving forward. Believe in yourself. Be a legend.

Sincerely, Danny Gautama (The Fighter)
