Request for Proposal Issued for Labour Market Research and Innovation Projects

The Workforce Development Board Windsor-Essex (Workforce WindsorEssex) in its role as the Local Employment Planning Council pilot in Windsor-Essex funded by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities is pleased to announce the launch of a Request for Proposal (RFP) for organizations interested in utilizing the Labour Market Research and Innovation Project (LMRIP)torespond to local labour market issues.

For Tanya Antoniw, Workforce WindsorEssex Executive Director “This Request for Proposal will be a key activity under the Research and Innovation branch, with the successful LMRIP applicant working with Workforce WindsorEssex and partners to undertake responsive local labour market projects.”

Organizations are invited to submit an application in order to identify and address a specific labour market issue, achieve project outcomes and outputs, while demonstrating a positive impact on the Windsor-Essex community.

Request for Proposal applicants are able to access the Request for Proposals online and are encouraged to read through the corresponding guidelines in order to ensure they follow and meet application criteria.

Proposals to the RFP will be due May 6, 2016 at 5PM EST. with questions regarding the LMRIP call for proposals collected until April 22, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. Workforce WindsorEssex will review and consider all responses submitted and anticipates successful proponent(s) identified in early June.
