Biz X Was There- Port Huron Float Down
The Port Huron Float Down is held on the third Sunday in August, at 1 p.m., 1000’s of people gather at Lighthouse Beach in Port Huron, Michigan and float approximately 10 miles down the St. Clair river to Chrysler Beach in Marysville, Michigan. The float usually takes approximately 2-3 hours in good weather.
Floaters from across the United States and Canada participate in this annual event. People of all ages float between the United States and Canadian Border on the St Clair River. Floaters brought their Tubes, Vessels, Rafts and mattresses even though the weather called for thunderstorms.
