BIZ X WAS THERE – The Future Is Female Market September 2023

The Future is Female Market was a vibrant and empowering gathering that took place in Windsor Essex to celebrate local, female-led businesses held at LFX Supply Centre at 1894 Manning Road, Tecumseh, Ontario.

Taking place on September 30, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., it featured over 20 women-led #YQG businesses, live music to set the mood and the first 100 people through the gates also were treated to swag bags filled with goodies from companies across the region. The event was such a success and one of the food trucks even ran out of food!

The market, hosted by Gisèle Levasseur (a dedicated mortgage specialist at RBC) in collaboration with LFX Supply Centre, aimed to provide strong support for local women vendors.

Molly Bradac from the local digital marketing agency, Red Piston also helped to coordinate and plan the market. This event truly celebrated and showcased the entrepreneurial spirit of our community.

Over 500 people attended the inaugural event, so we hope to see more of these markets next year!

Tina Huynh

Tina Huynh is a member of the Biz X photography team since 2023. She has taken many cover shots for the magazine and also for various print columns such as Biz of the Month and the XX Files. You can also find her out and about with her camera at various events for the Biz X Was There section of the website and the Hot Shots photo spread in the print issue. Tina is a dynamic entrepreneur and wellness advocate with a variety of hobbies and interests. She is also a nutrition coach that helps women who struggle with dieting to finally feel free and successful around food. In addition, Tina is a real estate agent and host of her own podcast, Tina's Arena, which focuses on food, growth, and entrepreneurship.

Deborah and the Biz X team are not only a group of people who work together, they are the spirit of Windsor's community, business essence and bringing social awareness. As a new member of this beautiful city, it was through Biz X magazine that I learned who is who and where is where. I attended their 25th Anniversary Gala in 2022 and what a fantastic evening. Everything, from the sparkling decor, glam photos, entertainment, guest speakers and our own Windsor fire department fundraising for Sparky's Toy Drive, was a true celebration.
