Have Your Say on the Windsor Environment
The City of Windsor is looking for your ideas and opinions on our environment. During the month of November, there will be six opportunities for you to meet with City staff to discuss the updated Environmental Master Plan(EMP). The Environmental Master Plan (EMP) was first developed in 2006 to provide a guidance document for the City of Windsor to address environmental issues. The draft 2017 EMP builds on the 2006 EMP with some notable changes and inclusions to address new environmental concerns.
The updated five goals of the EMP are:
- Improve Our Air Quality
- Improve Our Water Quality
- Responsible Land Use
- Increase Resource Efficiency
- Promote Awareness
We want this plan to reflect the concerns within the community. Please join us at one of our events and share your thoughts:
