1st Annual WARP Rock Festival to Donate Silent Auction Proceeds to Windsor Goodfellows
The Windsor Goodfellows has announced that it has been selected as the charitable recipient of the silent auction proceeds from the 1st Annual WARP Rock Festival, taking place this fall in Windsor.
Hosted by ATN Productions who has a passion for music and community impact, the WARP Rock Festival brings together rock music lovers from across the region to celebrate live music, local talent, and charitable giving. As part of the festival’s mission to give back to the community, the organizers have partnered with Windsor Goodfellows to ensure that the proceeds from the silent auction will go directly toward helping local families in need.
“We are honoured and incredibly grateful to be chosen as the beneficiary of the WARP Rock Festival’s silent auction. Every dollar raised will help support our vital programs, including food security initiatives, children’s footwear and clothing, and our Christmas meal boxes. This kind of community support helps us continue our mission of ‘No Child Without a Christmas’ and so much more throughout the year.” – Brian Beaumont, President of Windsor Goodfellows
The silent auction, which will be held on-site during the festival, will feature a wide range of items generously donated by local businesses, artists, and community members. From exclusive memorabilia to experience packages, attendees will have the chance to bid and give back at the same time.
“We wanted the WARP Rock Festival to be more than just music — we wanted it to make a difference,” said Mark Deblock – Promoter, ATN Productions. “Partnering with Windsor Goodfellows allows us to support an organization that truly touches lives in Windsor-Essex, and we couldn’t be more proud.”
The WARP Rock Festival is scheduled for November 1st at St Cyril’s Slovak Centre, with performances by Van Halen Invasion, Just Heart, 80’s Gone Wild and Sweetwood Mac.
