This morning the Association of Fundraising Professionals publicly announced the 2016 National Philanthropy Day Award Recipients

- Caesars Windsor Award for Spirit of Philanthropy: Rick & Kathy Durocher
- Cypher Systems Group Award for Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy: Kaidyn Blair
- United Way Centraide Windsor-Essex Award for Outstanding Fundraising Volunteer: Larry Bannon
- WindsorEssex Community Foundation Award for Outstanding Philanthropist: Rocco & Danielle Tullio
- University of Windsor Award for Outstanding Business: Families First
Organizers say they are looking forward to hearing each winners philanthropic journey on Nov. 18th, when the recipients receive their awards.
Windsor-Essex relies on these individuals, volunteers and businesses to ensure that the community can meet the needs of Windsor and Essex County residents.
AFP created National Philanthropy Day which is an annual award program that takes place throughout the world. National Philanthropy Day is the celebration of giving, volunteering and charitable engagement-that highlights the accomplishments in each community. This day is also a day to celebrate the fundraising profession.
