LaSalle Strawberry Festival  Named in Top 100

Festivals and Events Ontario (FEO) announced the 2020 Top 100 Festivals & Events in Ontario. The Town of LaSalle is proud that the LaSalle Strawberry Festival was named a 2020 Top 100 Festival in Ontario. These Top 100 recipients represent festivals and events that excel within the industry.

“We are honoured to be chosen as a FEO Top 100 festival. The LaSalle Strawberry Festival is a signature event for us, and we have been celebrating this festival with the community for more than 30 years. We look forward to it every June,” said Marc Bondy, Mayor.

This year, the LaSalle Strawberry Festival will take place at the Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex from June 11-14. The weekend includes a talent show, parade, live entertainment, fireworks, carnival, vendors and best of all delicious local strawberries. Vendor applications are now being accepted.

Submissions from FEO members were received for consideration in the fall of 2019 and were judged by an independent panel of judges. Festivals and events of all kinds from every corner of Ontario were represented in the submissions – from community festivals to internationally recognized events. The 2020 Top 100 Awards were given out on Thursday, February 27 during FEO’s Annual Conference “INNOVATE-Elevate-Enhance-Evolve” in Richmond Hill, Ontario.
