OUR HOSPITALS NEED YOUR HELP!
The Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation is witnessing an outpouring of support for the staff and the services provided at WRH. They are thankful for the community’s support always! We are all in this together so let’s keep the donations coming in. Please see below what is still needed and hopefully you or your company can help.
Personal Protective Equipment Donations
If you have any PPE you’d like to donate, please contact Gisele Seguin or Cristina Naccarato, Manager, Philanthropy by emailing: [email protected] or calling 519-995-2392 to coordinate drop-off or pick up.
They are currently looking for the following items:
- Respirators, Honeywell 5500 Series and NIOSG P100 filter cartridges
- N95 masks (model number: 3M18710, 3M9210 or 3MVFlex). If you have another available model of N95, please let us know so they may assess if it is something that can be utilized. KN95s are not acceptable.
- Nitrile gloves
- Battery-operated infrared medical thermometers
- Disposable impermeable gowns
- General surgical masks
- Hand sanitizer and/or disinfectant
- Sanitizer wipes
- Safety goggles
Equipment Support
If you would like to support their programs through a donation towards equipment, please visit their website at http://www.wrhfoundation.ca/ and click the “Donate Now” button at the top of the page. Please direct the donation towards “Most Urgent Needs.” This fund will allow them to purchase much needed equipment such as ventilators and vital signs monitors for their Critical Care areas.
Staff Support
If you would like to support WRH staff, they have established a COVID-19 Assistance Fund. This fund will be used help off-set hotel costs, purchase food for staff, and other personal equipment they may need at this time. To donate to this fund please donate through their website by choosing “other” from the drop-down menu and type “COVID-19 Assistance Fund.”
