On Friday, September 22, 2023, the Water’s Edge Event Centre in Windsor will come alive with the magic of Easter Seals Ontario’s Dancing with Easter Seals Stars event.
So in our next installment in our web series we wanted to bring a bit of the magic to you in this video… as you step into the heart of history with us. It’s a journey of culture, revitalization, and community support you won’t want to miss.
Tune in for an inspiring episode that celebrates our neighbourhood’s past, present, and future with Anh Nguyen from HNM Dance, Celebrity dancer Wanda Shreve (partner at Shibley Righton LLP) and Michelle Bitzer, event decorator and of course, Arms Bumanlag.
While the past is part of this video, the main focus is on the present and the Easter Seals dancing event.
The evening is not just about glitz and glamour; it’s about making a difference in the lives of children with physical disabilities across Ontario.
The “Stars” are local business people who will be paired with professional dancers from studios across Windsor. Their dance prowess will be judged by “Celebrity” Judges, adding a touch of glamour to the competition.
Plus, attendees will have the opportunity to support their favourite dancers to victory by voting — both online and at the event — to determine the People’s Choice winner!

Dancing with Easter Seals Stars is more than an event; it’s an opportunity to make a lasting impact, with funds raised through this event going directly toward Easter Seals Ontario’s programs and services, such as mobility and accessibility equipment funding, fully accessible summer camp, post-secondary scholarships, youth ambassadors, special education resources, and advocacy and public awareness.
By getting involved in the event, attendees and sponsors will be helping kids be kids and setting them up with the support, resources, and opportunities they need to grow into enriched adults.
