The much-loved Windsor Pizza Fest, presented by Windsor Food Spotters, is returning in an unparalleled culinary showdown at Fogolar. No longer in the weeds, this year’s edition, featuring 12 of the city’s top pizzerias, promises to be larger and more thrilling than ever before.

Kicking off on Saturday, August 12th, Pizza Fest will run bi-weekly until the grand Championship Finals slated for September 24th. Food enthusiasts are invited to experience Windsor’s finest pizza on one of the city’s most exquisite patios, creating a monumental chapter in Windsor’s pizza history.

How does Pizza Fest work?

The tournament consists of three preliminary rounds, leading up to a grand finale. Each round will see four competing pizzerias, each serving two distinct pies – a traditional Windsor Style Super and their unique surprise offering. Participants will have the privilege of enjoying a slice from each pizza and the power to cast a vote for their favourite place. This tournament is a blind competition- meaning the pizza will be presented unbranded!

ROUND 1 – August 12th.
WINNER BEST WINDSOR STYLE – Gino’s Original
WINNER BEST SPECIALTY – Krusty’s, Bruchetta Pizza
ROUND 2 – August 26th
WINNER BEST WINDSOR STYLE – Maestro’s
WINNER BEST SPECIALTY – Antonino’s, ‘The Angry Hawaiian’
ROUND 3
WINNER BEST WINDSOR STYLE – Capital City
WINNER BEST SPECIALTY – Capital City, ‘Chicken-Bacon’

Tickets, priced at $20 advance, $25 at the door each, guarantee patrons one slice from each competing pizzeria. There is one seating this round, with new pizzas arriving every hour. For those wishing to extend their Pizza Fest experience, rest assured, the bar will remain open throughout the day.
