OLDE RIVERSIDE BIA TO HOST FALL FEST PRESENTED BY AM800 CKLW AND CTV WINDSOR

Olde Riverside BIA and its members, Riverside residents, and the communities of Windsor- Essex County will host Fall Fest presented by AM800 CKLW and CTV Windsor on Saturday, September 23, 2023 (10am-11pm).

The BIA will utilize 3 zones throughout its district including the D C McCloskey Engineering parking lot owned by The Solcz Family (5745 Wyandotte St. E.), Riviera Pizza & Spaghetti House and the.dotte (5720 Wyandotte St. E.), and Thompon House (5370 Wyandotte St. E.).

The Olde Riverside Business Improvement Association (BIA) has announced its inaugural Fall Fest presented by CTV Windsor and AM800 CKLW. The event will take place within the east Riverside business district area between Glidden and Thompson Blvd Rd. on Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 10am and 11pm.

“We are thrilled to put on this great event for the community as we give thanks for the harvest, our
businesses, residents, and veterans,” says BIA Chair Chris Ryan. The day long event will feature a myriad of programs and activities that will take place between 3 parking lots that will be converted into fun-filled themed zones. There will be a variety of activities for families and children, youth, and adults throughout the day,” says Ryan.

Day Long Program:

  • Family Games and Crafts presented by The Solcz Family will kick-off festivities at the D C
    McCloskey Engineering lot (11am-4pm);
  • Buskers and Magic presented by AM800 CKLW and CTV Windsor will awaken senses and excite
    attendees (3-11pm); and
  • The Thompson House Night Market presented by the Riverside Bulletin Board will feature an
    outdoor patio, vendor corral, and live entertainment to build spirit and camaraderie.

“We want to provide fun for all, all day long,” says Ryan who hopes the community will attend the event
while supporting local businesses within the district.
