A Girls Night Out In Handbag Heaven Raises $20,000 For Habitat For Humanity

The Do Good Divas have announced the resounding success of their signature event, “A Girls Night Out in Handbag Heaven,” held in collaboration with Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex on Thursday, October 27, 2023 at the Giovanni Caboto Club.

On December 14, 2023 The Do Good Divas proudly presented a cheque for $20,000 to Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex, a substantial contribution towards the construction of the two homes in Sandwich Towne. It is noteworthy that their generous support will be doubled through the Habitat for Humanity Windsor Essex’s Brick4Brick Matching Sponsorship, running until December 25, 2023.

This extraordinary evening brought together the community for a glamorous fundraiser that has yielded significant support for the construction of two homes in Windsor’s west side, providing housing for two single-parent-led families in the Sandwich Towne area.

The event showcased a remarkable silent auction of handbags, featuring designer, classic, vintage, and funky styles, providing guests with a unique shopping experience. Attendees enjoyed fine dining and captivating musical entertainment, creating an unforgettable atmosphere.

The event’s outcome underscores the remarkable generosity and support from the community, with 350 guests in attendance, making it a tremendous success.
