Face To Face YourTV 2024 Hospice Campaign

The Hospice of Windsor and Essex County Inc.’s 22nd annual Face to Face Campaign, officially began August 15 and runs until September 30, 2024.

Each year, this campaign raises funds for the Fairley Family Transportation Program, which provides rides to medical appointments for Hospice patients and families in the community. The G.E.N.I.E. Program (Granting Exceptional N’ Impactful Experiences) is also supported through Face to Face, offering the opportunity for patients receiving Hospice care, whether in the Hospice Residences, or in their own home, to request special trips or outings.

In 21 years, Face to Face has raised over $1.6 million for Hospice. Campaign Founder John Fairley kick starts the campaign by inviting local VIPS in the region to appear on his YourTV Show.

Filmed at St. Clair College’s Media Plex, there are two shows that air to help promote the importance of fundraising for the hospice.

Part One aired at the end of August and Part Two features yours truly!

Starting September 2 and for two weeks, show times are . . .

  • Monday at 8:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday at 6 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday at 11 a.m. and 10 p.m.
  • Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
  • Saturday at 9 p.m.
  • Sunday at noon and 7 p.m.

So as I end my interview with a goal of beating the 2023 campaign amount raised of $125,971 learn how you can help support these memorable moments and much-needed rides?

Deborah Jones – Publisher of Biz X Magazine Deborah Jones graduated from the University of Windsor with an Honours Degree in Communication Studies and was employed at two other local magazines shortly after for a few years learning all she could about writing, advertising, public relations and more. She made the jump in 1998 to go out on her own to publish Biz X magazine and has worked in the publishing industry since 1990. In 2007, she earned the “Entrepreneur of the Year” award from the Windsor & District Chamber of Commerce. To date, she is the ONLY woman so far to receive this award. In 2013, she received one of the first “Windsor Women of the Year” awards from the Ladies Exclusive Alliance. Her most recent achievement is the 2023 Media Award from the Windsor Essex Chapter of the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
