The WindsorEssex Community Foundation Celebrates Investing $1.1 Million
On Tuesday, November 4,2025 the WindsorEssex Community Foundation (WECF) proudly hosted its 2025 Annual Meeting and Grant Awards Ceremony, celebrating the distribution of $1.1 million in grants to charitable organizations across Windsor and Essex County.
This milestone achievement was made possible thanks to the generous contributions of the Foundation’s donors and community partners.
Held at The Windsor Club, the event honored the dedication and leadership of WECF’s Board of Directors, staff, and community partners. The Foundation also welcomed new fund holders who joined over the past year and recognized this year’s Community Impact Grant recipients. Attendees reflected on the Foundation’s extensive community investments—both from the past year and throughout its more than 42 years of inspiring philanthropy across the region.
“The WindsorEssex Community Foundation is honoured to support local organizations and the essential programs that make Windsor and Essex County a better place for all. Congratulations to all of our Community Impact Grant recipients!
