Arts Collective Theatre Windsor Presents Guys And Dolls
The latest production from the Arts Collective Theatre (ACT) Windsor is set to rock the Capitol Theatre stage from October 13 to 22.

Set in the 1950s, post World War II Times Square, Guys and Dolls is about a couple of big city gamblers and the women that love them.
Experience this colourful comedy that has been called “the perfect musical” by generations of theatre lovers in a new and exciting way!
Director Chris Rabideau states: “Guys and Dolls has been revived many times — and for great reasons. This show never gets old. ACT loves to take on an old show and make it new again.”
Rabideau explains how the ways they are making the show new again, one being that their casting is fresh.
“The entire mission band will be people of colour” he mentions. “I wanted to give homage to Black churches and culture. As usual, ACTs diversity is shown throughout the entire cast. Even our lead Nathan Detroit, will be played by a man of colour. This is very important to the ACT family, as we pride ourselves and our legacy as the most diverse theatre company in Windsor-Essex County. Also, our amazingly talented Musical Director Ian Smith has expertly created more authentic gospel moments in the arrangement, and the cast LOVES it, no doubt the audience will too!”
The show is also choreographed by Tiffany Chan of Windsor Dance eXperience.
Tickets are $40 for adults, $37 for students/seniors, and $25 for youth (under 14). Get your tickets now at the Capitol Theatre box office or visit actwindsor.com.
