DRIVE FORE A CURE AND IN HONOUR OF THE ONES WE LOVE TEAM DONATES LIFE-SAVING EQUIPMENT TO PANDA.

Members from Drive Fore a Cure and In Honour of the Ones We Love were proud to visit the Children’s Hospital of Michigan to see first-hand the critical care defibrillator and monitoring unit the teams funded through efforts at their 8th Annual Golf Tournament.

This life-saving device will be used on the Children’s Hospital of Michigan’s Pediatric and Neonatal Dedicated Ambulance (PANDA) which provides highly specialized care for critically ill children and neonates from referring hospitals and physician offices all over the state of Michigan and Windsor.

PANDA transports critically ill children between DMC Hospital and Windsor to Children’s Hospital of Michigan when time is of the essence.

Organizers had the pleasure of meeting the PANDA One Critical Care Transport Team which is a very dedicated and passionate group of professionals. They care deeply about children and were very appreciative of the donation to PANDA!

Organizers would like to thank Drive Fore a Cure in partnership with In Honour Of The Ones We Love for their 8^TH Annual Golf Outing.

Deborah Jones and her team at Biz X Magazine work so incredibly hard to produce each issue and their November / December Awards 2024 issue is fantastic! So happy to see that Erie Street Woodworks won in their Woodworking Wonders category. There were 196 nominees this year and I have no idea how Deborah and the team of judges were able to choose between all of the talented nominees.

Deborah and the Biz X team are not only a group of people who work together, they are the spirit of Windsor's community, business essence and bringing social awareness. As a new member of this beautiful city, it was through Biz X magazine that I learned who is who and where is where. I attended their 25th Anniversary Gala in 2022 and what a fantastic evening. Everything, from the sparkling decor, glam photos, entertainment, guest speakers and our own Windsor fire department fundraising for Sparky's Toy Drive, was a true celebration.
