Do Good Divas Now Accepting 2022 Funding Requests

The Do Good Divas have announced that their popular signature event “A Girls Night Out in Handbag Heaven” is returning on October 27, 2022.

The Do Good Divas are now searching for their 2022 donations of choice for the proceeds for their fundraiser. Through the generosity of the Do Good Diva sponsors, donors and event attendees the Divas have supported high impact health care related projects across the Windsor Essex community.

Over $600,000 of fundraising dollars have been donated by the Do Good Divas to community organizations providing positive advancements for locally targeted programing supporting all Windsor Essex Community demographics.

Past beneficiaries include the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), John McGivney Children’s Centre, the Jump Start Breakfast Program, Unemployed Help Centre of Windsor, Windsor Regional Hospital Cancer Centre, We Care for Kids, Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation, Hotel Dieu Grace HealthCare and many more.

“Our signature event started in 2007 to support the incredible efforts of our local organizations”, says Founder and President Gale Simko-Hatfield. “Until Covid, our annual fundraiser has been successful because our event supporters share our love for unique quality handbags while enjoying a fun evening and simply doing good for others.”

The Executive Committee of the Do Good Divas are now inviting local health care related organizations to submit funding proposals. All funding requests must be submitted by email to [email protected], and received no later than May 15, 2022.

Donation request proposals are required to include the organization’s mission, program description, clear outline for the need of funding, along with client impact information. Funding requests must support client services and programs and not operational budget needs.

The Do Good Divas are committed to doing good deeds for our community by supporting a wide range of local services in healthcare and look forward to the return of their annual fundraiser.
