Warrior Women Windsor

Warrior Women is a ground-breaking 6-city concert and empowerment series designed to amplify women’s voices and celebrate local female talent. Curated by The Truth Untold’s frontwoman, Rose Cora Perry, 24 female-fronted bands, 6 badass female guest speakers alongside 21 female owned and operated business partners will be showcased across Niagara Falls, Windsor, London, Toronto, Hamilton and Sarnia. Proceeds are being raised for Yellow Brick House, one of Ontario’s largest providers of services to women and children escaping domestic violence and abuse. Join our Rally!

Warrior Women Windsor takes place at Lion’s Head Tavern on Friday, September 18. The donation amount is $10 per person and the event is 19+. Doors open at 7:00 pm.

WHY THIS MATTERS NOW?
Domestic abuse rates have risen significantly, with 1 IN 2 Canadian women experiencing intimate partner violence in their lifetime. In Canada, a woman is killed by her intimate partner approximately EVERY 5 DAYS. In 2024, intimate partner violence increased by 18.1% in Ontario. Domestic abuse remains UNDERREPORTED, with only 19% of incidents reported to police.

By showcasing FEMALE talent across major Southwestern Ontario cities, we’re building a template for future empowerment  initiatives while making an immediate, measurable difference in survivors’ lives.
