The Windsor Zombie Walk and Parade returns to Downtown Windsor for another evening of spooky fun, Halloween spirit, and community celebration. Presented by Scarehouse Windsor in partnership with the Downtown Windsor Business Improvement Association (DWBIA), this annual event invites zombies, survivors, horror fans, families, and curious spectators to gather in the downtown core for one of Windsor’s most unique and anticipated fall traditions.

Participants are encouraged to dress in their best zombie costumes, survivor gear, or Halloween attire as the parade makes its way through Downtown Windsor in an exciting and interactive atmosphere open to all ages. Beginning at Ouellette Avenue and Wyandotte Street, the Zombie Walk and Parade will travel through the downtown core before concluding in Downtown Windsor, where attendees can continue the evening with food vendors, live entertainment, and costume contests celebrating the creativity and spirit of the event. Contest categories will recognize standout zombie costumes, survivor-themed looks, and family-friendly participation, making it a fun experience for participants of all ages.

Beyond the frightful fun, the event also supports an important local cause through monetary donations for The Downtown Mission of Windsor, helping provide food, shelter, and essential services to individuals and families in need throughout the community. Following the parade festivities, attendees can continue the excitement at the Zombie Rave After Party, taking place as a lively block party on Pelissier Street’s 200 Block. Featuring music, entertainment, and a high-energy Halloween atmosphere, the afterparty gives participants the opportunity to celebrate with fellow zombies and survivors while keeping the spooky spirit alive in Downtown Windsor.
