View our video now complete with plenty of horse-power, chrome and classic cars coverage plus an interview with Rick Farrow, show sponsor and Bill Kell, Executive: Miracle League of Riverside Baseball.
Main sponsors of the First Annual Farrow Classic Car Show were the Farrow Family Foundation, Provincial Chrysler and Ground Effects and the event raised an incredible $50,000 for the Farrow Riverside Miracle Park!
Established in 2017, the Farrow Riverside Miracle Park has become one of Windsor’s premier inclusive recreational destinations.
Originally known as St. Rose Park, the park was renamed in 1999 to honour the Riverside Baseball Club and its decades of dedication to children and families in East Windsor. Today, the park features a Miracle
League baseball diamond, inclusive playground, cenotaph, splash pad, fitness equipment, picnic areas, and amenities enjoyed by more than 100 young baseball players each season.
Proceeds from the car show help fund the park’s ongoing maintenance and purchase specialized Miracle League equipment, including adaptive bats and balls. The Miracle League removes barriers faced by children and adults living with physical and intellectual disabilities by providing a specially designed rubberized baseball diamond that safely accommodates wheelchairs and mobility devices.
Beyond baseball, the Miracle League builds friendships, confidence, and lasting memories through its unique buddy system, pairing each athlete with an able-bodied volunteer.
Since opening its first field in Conyers, Georgia, in 2000, the organization has grown to more than 350 Miracle League organizations, serving over 450,000 children and adults across North America,
ensuring everyone has the opportunity to experience the joy of playing baseball.
