Supporting Windsor Regional Hospital’s Mental Health Program

Former CTV news anchor Jim Crichton loves to support Windsor Regional Hospital (WRH) by visiting WRH and local elementary schools to read to students during the 13th annual Hats On For Healthcare event.

Although the students have been on site in the past, due to the Covid-19 restrictions it will be fully virtual this year.

Jim has recorded two videos of him reading The Cat in the Hat and The Hockey Sweater to share with students across Windsor-Essex County. Check out his YouTube videos below.

A friendly reminder to sign up and support the 13th annual Hats On For Healthcare event! This event will continue to be hosted virtually from Wednesday, March 2 – Wednesday March 30, 2022, WRH promises it will still be as fun as ever! Although we are unable to host in-person gatherings, we have built upon last year’s virtual events and have many ways in which you can participate and fundraise!

In the registration package, you will find everything you need to register on the WRH online platform, how to spread the word through social media, and organize unique virtual events for you and your team!

The money raised will be supporting the purchase of new medical equipment, furnishings and items that support patients while in the unit.

Congratulations, to Monica Svoboda who was last week’s winner of the $100 Kona Sushi gift card.

The winning does not stop there. This week’s lucky winner will WIN a $100 gift to Cotta Food Bar.

Deborah and the Biz X team are not only a group of people who work together, they are the spirit of Windsor's community, business essence and bringing social awareness. As a new member of this beautiful city, it was through Biz X magazine that I learned who is who and where is where. I attended their 25th Anniversary Gala in 2022 and what a fantastic evening. Everything, from the sparkling decor, glam photos, entertainment, guest speakers and our own Windsor fire department fundraising for Sparky's Toy Drive, was a true celebration.
