THE HOSPICE 2024 FACE TO FACE CAMPAIGN HIGHLIGHTS THE ENORMOUS GENEROSITY OF OUR COMMUNITY WITH $111,203.00 RAISED IN SUPPORT OF HOSPICE PATIENTS AND FAMILIES
The Hospice of Windsor and Essex County officially concluded the 22nd annual Face to Face Campaign on September 30th, and this year the total raised was an astonishing $111,203!
Over the last 22 years of the campaign, over $1.7 million has been raised, with funds staying right here in our community, and directly supporting our friends and loved ones. Face to Face has supported our Fairley Family Transportation, providing much needed rides to medical appointments and programs. As of last year, the campaign now also supports Hospice in granting exceptional and impactful experiences to patients and their families through the G.E.N.I.E. Transportation Program.
“My family and I extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you who generously participated in our 22nd annual Hospice Face to Face Campaign,” states John Fairley, Campaign Founder. “Whether you contributed $10 or more, your support has made a direct impact on Hospice’s mission. Every dollar raised goes towards enhancing the quality of care and service that the Hospice provides. Our family and co-chair are grateful for your unwavering support, and we look forward to continuing with the same dedication and passion that you have shown us. Together, we are making a significant impact on the lives of patients and their families throughout Windsor and Essex County.”
Executive Director, Katharen Bortolin adds: “John, his family, and everyone involved in the Face to Face Campaign continue to show their support and belief in the work Hospice does. And, this year, dedicating our campaign in memory of one of our most passionate Hospice Ambassadors, Dr. Jamie Henderson, made it all the more special. Every year dedicated canvassers, sponsors, and champions come together to ensure this campaign is a success. The impact of this campaign is tremendous, and it is because of your generosity that Hospice to continues to deliver memorable, specialized, wrap-around care to patients and families.”
The Hospice Face to Face Campaign runs annually from August 15 to September 30, and in 22 years has raised over $1.7 million.
