Keep Calm and Wear a Hat

Hats On For Healthcare, a fundraising event benefitting the Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation returns for its 11th year on March 4th.

The fun and interactive event has raised $350,000 by simply asking everyone to wear a hat and pay a ‘toonie’ for the opportunity. Many ‘toonies’ have been donated from a vast array of organizations and businesses.

This year, Hats On For Healthcare is supporting our Critical Care program. The program that operates Intensive Care units at both campuses as well as a Cardiac Care unit requires a variety of equipment. The focus is on obtaining an MRI compatible ventilator, a transport ventilator and a Prismaflex that allows for renal dialysis while in the unit.
