This fully accessible vehicle travels to various locations in our community to provide important health services including . . .

  • Primary Care Check Ups and Chronic Disease Support
  • Preventative Care, including COVID-19 and Flu vaccines
  • Wound Care and Foot Care
  • Mental Health Support and Substance & Addiction Services

MMS is supported by the Windsor Essex Ontario Health Team (WEOHT). The WEOHT is comprised of over 45 healthcare organizations, community support services, hospitals, home and community care providers, lived experience partners, and primary care providers providing services in urban and rural settings.

“As a proud partner of the WEOHT, we are thrilled to be able to host this important service at our facility,” says Jessica Sartori, CEO, JMCC. “The Mobile Medical Support truck is designed to provide Windsor-Essex residents with convenient access to important medical care and services. By hosting the truck this week, we are able to offer this convenience to the children, youth and families we serve, our staff and to the residents of Sandwich and surrounding areas.”

JMCC provides family-centred therapy and support services to more than 3,000 children and youth annually in Windsor and Essex County. Depending on the need, services are offered at the Centre, virtually, in schools, and in the community. Staff work together with families to assist children and youth with mobility, communication & participation in everyday activities.
