Lakeview Montessori; Manor Realty’s Keys Of Hope; Hospice Dove Pin Campaign & New Owners For Loaring Physiotherapy
Lakeview Montessori, 13797 Riverside Drive in Tecumseh, is expanding to serve more families! Since 1978, Lakeview Montessori School (a non-profit organization), has been a leader in authentic Montessori education for children from six weeks old to grade eight. As the only Montessori school in Windsor Essex accredited by both the Canadian Council of Montessori Administrators (CCMA) and Canadian Accredited Independent Schools (CAIS), Lakeview upholds the highest standards for both Montessori and independent school education. “We are expanding our footprint to enrich our students’ educational journey in meaningful ways,” explains Kristin Barone, Director of Community Development and Assistant Head of School. “This expansion will create innovative learning spaces for all ages, fostering growth in robotics and technology, art, music, and culinary education. Additionally, our middle school program will move to the new building, which will be designed to better equip students for high school and beyond.” With a growing waiting list for preschool and limited space in their elementary programs, it’s clear that families recognize the exceptional education, close-knit community, and dedicated long-term staff that set Lakeview apart. Barone adds: “It’s truly inspiring to see our community come together to make a lasting impact. I can’t wait to witness the transformation — especially the joy and excitement on our students’ faces when they step into these incredible new spaces.” This is a unique opportunity for community leaders to make a lasting impact on education in Windsor Essex. Community partners can make a difference and create inspiring learning spaces that empower children to thrive. If you are interested in being a part of this exciting expansion please get in touch with Barone via the contact information on their website.

Hospice Volunteers will be offering pins at more than 30 locations across Windsor Essex through the April 24 to 27 weekend, including various Home Hardware, Metro, Rexall, Shoppers Drug Mart, Sobeys and Zehrs locations, as well as at Colasanti’s Tropical Gardens, Anna’s (Garden, Home & Wellness), and Cindy’s Home and Garden. “By making a donation and wearing a Dove Pin, you are helping provide quality care and memorable moments to Hospice patients and their loved ones,” says Katharen Bortolin, Hospice Executive Director. “We would love for you to stop by one of our locations, say hello to our amazing volunteers, make a donation, and proudly wear your locally made Hospice Dove Pin.” For a detailed list of locations where pins will be made available, as well as campaign information, check online.
Loaring Physiotherapy & Health Centre recently announced a transition of ownership in its milestone 20th year of business. Founded in 2005 by Physiotherapist Charlotte Loaring, the torch has been passed to new owners and Physiotherapists, Wesley and Derek Bellemore (twin brothers). “This is certainly a dream scenario,” says Loaring. “Wesley and Derek have been dedicated senior healthcare professionals with our company for a combined 16 years. I’m proud to see them step forward into this new leadership and ownership role alongside our exceptional Loaring team.” Wesley and Derek hold Masters of Physiotherapy Degrees from the University of Toronto and University of Western Ontario, respectfully. Both will continue their clinical work alongside Loaring, who remains with the company into 2025, treating patients and aiding the transition. The transition allows Loaring more time to expand her work as an Honorary Lieutenant Colonel with the Canadian Armed Forces, while growing charitable initiatives, such as the Loaring Consistency Challenge. Wesley states: “We look forward to building on the core values that Loaring Physiotherapy was founded on and wish to thank the Windsor Essex and Chatham Kent communities for 20 years of exceptional support. Our Loaring team is committed to maintaining the same high standards of patient care and service that we have worked so hard to establish.” The clinic is located at 13126 Tecumseh Road East in Tecumseh.
