Dresses Needed For Say Yes To The Prom Dress Event
Spring is just around the corner and New Beginning’s 16th annual Say Yes to the Prom Dress event is fast approaching on Saturday, March 25th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.!
For one day only, youth can browse their huge selection of new and gently used formal, prom, and graduation dresses ranging in styles and sizes from 0-26. The event is open to the public with fitting rooms on site, and each youth is entitled to one FREE dress!
Since its inception 16 years ago, Say Yes to the Prom Dress has helped thousands of youth find the dress of their dreams in celebration of formal events such as prom and graduation.
This amazing opportunity would not be possible without the support of our generous community and local businesses, which is why they are asking you to help make dreams come true by donating new or gently used dresses to the event.
Donations of raffle items in alignment with this theme (hair and/or nail salon vouchers, restaurant gift certificates, etc.) are also greatly appreciated, as all youth who attend the event are entered into a draw to win items to help make their formal experience a dream come true!
Dresses and donation items can be dropped off Monday-Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at either of the locations listed below. Cash donations can be made to [email protected], or by certified cheque, bank draft, or money order. Tax receipts provided upon request.
