The 8th Annual Shar’s Ride for MS was a resounding success claimed Shar Good, Event Coordinator!
She said, “With the support of the many volunteers, the participants of the event, and businesses in our community, along with the support of the Event Sponsors is what makes this event successful!
Shar went on to give many thanks to the Event Sponsors: DIAMOND; Biz X Magazine, In Play Magazine, Families First, IUPAT Local 1494/1590, Leather King, Steve’s Auto Shine and Belt Drive Betty, RUBY; The Healing Garden, Robinson Motorcycle, Fran Sales-AVON, The Leaf, Vision Realty and The Sandbar, for their event contribution and support.
“I would be remiss”, Shar says, “if I don’t acknowledge the many participants who brought in Pledges for the ride event! I totally feel, This event is not put on by 1 individual, it is what it is today because of the many mentioned above!”
The Ride for MS went on without a hitch, leaving from the Rise N’ Shine, with the Emergency Motorcycle Care Unit supporting and lending their service if needed. Fran Sales, Assistant Event Coordinator, claimed everyone who participated in the event had a really good time while on the ride and then enjoying an awesome dinner, following the ride, at the Columbus Centre of South Windsor.
The 9th Annual Shar’s Ride for MS will take place on Sunday, September 17, 2017. Please visit the ride’s website for various ride updates, ALL funds raised stay local to subsidize the purchase of mobility equipment for those with MS.
