We Will Rock Blue Concert in Support of Autism Awareness
ELTON ROHN headlined this year’s We Will Rock Blue as well as thrilling crowds across North America, performing the hits you know and love. This live tribute celebrated all the iconic songs that made Elton John one of the most legendary rock stars of all time. We were amazed, and came away feeling like we just experienced a 1970’s Elton John concert!
The seven-piece ELTON ROHN band played every note live and sang in full four-part harmony. Some of the classics included Rocket Man, Bennie and the Jets, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Candle in the Wind and Crocodile Rock, just to name a few. This amazing band faithfully re-created the grand scope of an Elton John live show.
Of course the entire evening was in support of Autism Awareness. Autism now affects 1 in 94 children in Ontario. It’s an alarming statistic that most people are unaware of. This pervasive Developmental Disorder affects almost every aspect of a person’s life, impacting behaviour, social interaction and communication skills. And the statistics are rising at an alarming rate, affecting more and more families each year. The event was truly an amazing and great event produced by Scott Rawlings to help raise autism awareness while rocking to the music of Elton John.
