Biz X Was There – Under The Big Top Kids Gala

The circus is in town!

Well it was on Friday, September 26, 2025 as Windsor Essex (W.E.) Care For Kids Foundation held its seventh bi-annual Under the Big Top Kids’ Gala.

Held at the Giovanni Caboto Club, the event featured acrobatic and circus acts courtesy of Velvet Edge Entertainment and Incirque, a dog show by Border City Barkers, ponies brought by the Windsor Essex Therapeutic Riding Association, and Disney princess cosplay by Princess Party Sisters; the event also featured food, drinks, magic, raffles, prizes and giveaways – all capped off with a kid’s dance party!

This one of a kind evening has become a signature event for W.E. Care for Kids and not only provides families with an incredible night out, but also does important work raising funds and awareness for W.E. Care for Kids.

Started as a fundraising effort in 1997 by Dr. Joe Galiwango, Bill Micelli, and Alan Dafoe to address the urgent need for essential pediatric medical equipment, W.E. Care for Kids Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the health and wellness of children in Windsor-Essex County though fundraising initiatives.

As of July 2025, WE Care for Kids has raised more than $10 million in support of equipment for paediatric programs and services at Windsor Regional Hospital campuses, Erie Shortes HealthCare, Windsor Essex Therapeutic Riding Association, John McGivney Children’s Centre, The Ronald McDonald House of Windsor, as well as the WE Care for Kids House.
