Nominations Open For University Of Windsor Student Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards

Calling all student entrepreneurs, changemakers, and big thinkers – nominations are now open for EPICentre’s inaugural University of Windsor Student Entrepreneur Awards!

This special occasion calls for recognizing exceptional student entrepreneurs who have demonstrated entrepreneurial excellence, resilience, and innovation.

We invite you to nominate deserving student entrepreneurs for one of three prestigious awards, each accompanied by a trophy and a $500 cash prize:

Entrepreneurial Trailblazer: Recognizing visionary leadership and significant entrepreneurial success.
Innovation Award: Celebrating remarkable innovation, creativity, and positive impact potential.
Best Bounce Back Award: Honoring resilience in overcoming challenges to achieve entrepreneurial goals.

Eligibility of Nominees:

Current University of Windsor students (undergraduate and graduate), including students who graduated in the academic year 2023.
Nominees do NOT have to be current or past members of EPICentre.

Nomination Timeline:

Nominations open: Monday, October 2nd, 2023, at 9:00 am
Nominations close: Monday, November 6th, 2023, at 2:00 pm
Nominees announced on Monday, November 27th, 2023
Winners announced at EPICentre’s 10th Anniversary Celebration on Friday, January 19th, 2024
Nomination Instructions: To nominate a deserving student entrepreneur:
Complete the nomination form online with as much detail as possible, highlighting the nominee’s achievements and contributions to the community.
Include 2 letters of support for the nomination, which can be attached to the online nomination form.

Self-nominations are also welcome! Your participation in this process is essential in honoring the dedication and innovation of our student entrepreneurs.

Let’s celebrate a decade of entrepreneurship at the University of Windsor EPICentre by recognizing and supporting our outstanding student entrepreneurs. Your involvement will make a significant difference in their entrepreneurial journey.
