Vaccination Video for 5-11 Year Olds

Windsor Regional Hospital, the City of Windsor, and the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit have released a new video entitled “Getting Your Child Vaccinated – Kids 5-11” which takes viewers on a three-minute journey through the COVID-19 Vaccination Centre at Devonshire Mall.

This new locally produced video provides tips for parents and kids on how to prepare at home (such as what to wear), to the arrival at the vaccination centre, through the registration process, the vaccination itself, and the post-vaccination process. The easy-to-follow guide is aimed at reducing anxiety and any fear of the unknown about getting this important vaccination from the friendly and courteous staff.

You are encouraged to share this video to help alleviate the concerns and questions of kids and parents throughout Windsor and Essex County.

Deborah Jones and her team at Biz X Magazine work so incredibly hard to produce each issue and their November / December Awards 2024 issue is fantastic! So happy to see that Erie Street Woodworks won in their Woodworking Wonders category. There were 196 nominees this year and I have no idea how Deborah and the team of judges were able to choose between all of the talented nominees.

Deborah and the Biz X team are not only a group of people who work together, they are the spirit of Windsor's community, business essence and bringing social awareness. As a new member of this beautiful city, it was through Biz X magazine that I learned who is who and where is where. I attended their 25th Anniversary Gala in 2022 and what a fantastic evening. Everything, from the sparkling decor, glam photos, entertainment, guest speakers and our own Windsor fire department fundraising for Sparky's Toy Drive, was a true celebration.
