Libro Credit Union (Libro) announced the recipients of the 2018 Libro Prosperity Fund, an annual granting program investing a total of $460,000, with $80,000.00 supporting 7 projects locally in Essex Kent.
“At Libro, growing prosperity across southwestern Ontario is why we exist,” said Stephen Bolton, Libro Credit Union President and CEO. “We’re also passionate about investing locally, with 100% of our profits invested into the communities we serve. These grant recipients demonstrate there is so much more to prosperity than simply saving money.”

The Libro Prosperity Fund invested in a total of 31 organizations and community groups across southwestern Ontario. Libro’s aim to grow prosperity isn’t limited to community investment dollars. As part of their Prosperity Purpose, Libro thinks differently about how they conduct business overall, investing in partnerships that serve a social purpose and making decisions that have a positive impact on their Owners, communities and staff.
