HOSPICE 2020 FACE TO FACE CAMPAIGN REACHES $100,000
The Hospice of Windsor & Essex County officially concluded the 18th annual Face to Face campaign on September 30th; however, the generosity of our community didn’t stop. The Hospice has announced that the 2020 Face to Face Campaign has now raised over $100,000!
Following the public announcement of the original fundraised total ($95,726), an anonymous donor stepped in to add a $5,000 donation, raising the total over the $100,000 mark. Over the course of the last few weeks, additional dollars have been received by our Hospice, increasing the amount further.
“With 2020 being a year of so much uncertainty, our community has gone above and beyond for our Hospice once again,” said Hospice Executive Director, Colleen Reaume. “The Face to Face Campaign has been called the ‘little campaign that could’ since its inception in 2002, and this year proves that still holds true! I remain so grateful to John Fairley, Jamie Henderson and Michael Solcz for their campaign leadership and inspiration”
With these additional donations, the eighteen-year campaign total has reached over 1.3 million dollars raised, with funds staying right here in our community, and directly supporting our friends and loved ones at a time when they need it most.
