APRIL 19, 2023 A TASTE FOR LIFE A PARTICIPATING RESTAURANTS IN WINDSOR ESSEX
Pozitive Pathways is proud to present A Taste For Life 2023 (ATFL), on Wednesday, April 19, at select restaurants across the city. Sponsored by TD Bank, Caesars Windsor Cares, Bell Media, AM800 CKLW, Pure Country 89, Virgin Radio Windsor, Biz X Magazine and Better Deal Club (coming soon!).
ATFL is a National fundraiser, which started in Ottawa in 1999 and partners AIDS Service Organizations (ASO) with restaurants across the country to raise funding in support of ASO programs and services.
It is a one-day event that is all-inclusive and aims to bring all members of the community together for a shared experience that benefits vulnerable people within the community. Food is the best way to celebrate diverse cultures and bring people closer together. This event engages volunteers from groups that are vulnerable to social isolation and allows them to network and build connections in the community.
This event creates the opportunity for our agency, as well as our board members, peers, clients, and volunteers, to engage with the public, media, and food and beverage industry for a full day of programming that supports Pozitive Pathways’ programs and services. Participating restaurants in Windsor-Essex have agreed to donate up to 25% of their total sales for the day to Pozitive Pathways to bring hope, housing and support to people living with, at-risk, or affected by HIV/AIDS.
